With Arian Foster not practicing this week due to hamstring and back issues and Ben Tate facing four broken ribs, things are looking bleak for the running backs in Houston. Third-string option Dennis Johnson might well end up playing simply because there is nobody else. He played most of the second half in Week 9, and while Ben Tate has indicated he will play on Sunday, his four broken ribs are a tenuous situation to say the least. Last week was a good opportunity for Johnson to get a bit more comfortable on the field, which could result in an even better performance this weekend if Tate can’t manage the workload. The matchup with Arizona this weekend isn’t an ideal one, but you should keep Johnson on your radar for the following two weeks, as he faces the Raiders and the Jaguars.
