Aaron Gordon 2018-2019 Player Outlook
6 years agoOrlando Magic power forward Aaron Gordon will go into the 2018-2019 season as the face of the franchise after signing his big free agent contract this past offseason. Gordon had his ups and downs last season, averaging 17.6 points and 7.9 boards per contest in addition to a steal. Unfortunately, Gordon went only 43.4 percent from the field and hit just a third of his three-point attempts. The positive thing for Gordon is that he's only 22 years old and still improving. In fact, Gordon has increased his points average per game by a minimum of 2.5 points each season. If Gordon does that again, he will be at 20 points and eight rebounds per contest, which are similar to the numbers of Detroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin's averages of 21.4 points and 7.4 boards. With that being said, Gordon will probably go later in drafts than Griffin but give fantasy players nearly identical production.
