Brandon Ingram 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram drastically improved his shooting last year, shooting 47.0 percent from the field and 39.0 percent from three compared to his rookie year shooting of just 40.2 percent and 29.4 percent, respectively. Ingram even improved his passing abilities while serving as a point forward late last season, averaging 1.6 more assists per game post all-star break compared to pre all-star break. However, with new teammate and superstar LeBron James coming into town, it will be difficult for Ingram to maintain a 22.2 percent usage rate this upcoming season. Therefore, Ingram’s overall numbers should take a hit from his sophomore year, but it’s also possible playing with James will unlock some hidden potential, especially if Ingram can develop more defensively.
