DeAndre Jordan 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoDallas Maverick center DeAndre Jordan has found a new home, but the question is, how will this affect his value? Owners of Jordan last season saw a bit of a different big man than from previous seasons. The good was seeing his free throw percentage increase from 48.2 percent to 58.0 percent in addition to his rebounding numbers going from 13.8 per game to an astounding 15 a night. The bad saw his blocking numbers taking a hit from 1.7 per outing to just 0.9 with his dominant field goal percentage dipping to a still-pretty-amazing 64.5 percent, down from 71.4 percent from the previous season. With the young backcourt of Dennis Smith Jr. and Luka Doncic, Jordan will take some time to gel with these youngsters. We know Jordan is a beast in points leagues, but if you are in a category league, he is always a worry with his free throw percentage, but if we see an increase again here and if he can get those blocking numbers back up, then Jordan will be in for an excellent 2019 campaign.
