Jarrett Allen Remains Out Versus OKC
7 months agoCleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (ankle) remains tagged as out for Friday's game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder with a left ankle bone bruise. Allen missed Wednesday's season opener with the issue he suffered in the preseason, and he's still not been cleared to play for the home opener. Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor reported on Wednesday that Allen was doing individual workouts while progressing in his recovery. With the 25-year-old Allen not appearing far off from a return, Saturday's second leg of a back-to-back signifies the former All-Star's next shot to make his 2023-24 debut. Evan Mobley should shift to the five again with Allen out Friday, with Max Strus and Isaac Okoro carrying short-term fantasy boosts in the starting forward spots.
