Tyus Jones Expected To Start This Season?
9 months agoThe Athletic's Josh Robbins believes Washington Wizards point guard Tyus Jones will be the team's starter on opening night, "barring injury." Jones has handled the responsibility quite well in the past, averaging 12.1 points, 6.9 assists and 1.6 steals in 31.5 minutes over 94 games as a starter in his career. The 27-year-old is staring at perhaps the largest workload of his eight-year career in Washington, but combo guard Delon Wright is sure to have a significant role as well. The Wizards have a ton of usage up for grabs in 2023-2024 with Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis now out of the picture.
