Corey Seager Goes Deep, Continues Phenomenal Start
11 months agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI, furnishing most of the offense in a 5-0 win against the Detroit Tigers on Monday. Since returning from the injured list, the 29-year-old has picked up right where he left off following a hot start to the campaign. Seager is hitting .311 (14-for-45) with a .667 SLG and four long balls to go with 19 RBI since his activation on May 17. The three-time All-Star has notably tallied at least one hit or RBI in each of his 11 games this month, fortifying a high fantasy floor as the two-hole hitter in the flourishing Texas lineup. Seager is churning out third-round roto value and the two-time Silver Slugger should continue to be treated as a top-shelf fantasy shortstop going forward.
