7 months agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle came through for his team in a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday. Mahle pitched six shutout innings, striking out five and walking two on the way to winning his first game of the season. The young right-hander has pitched well this season but has just a 1-5 record to show for his efforts. Mahle will take a 3.51 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 54 strikeouts in 51 1/3 innings into his next start, which will come against the Chicago Cubs on Saturday.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
