Trae Young Absent For First Time This Year
6 months agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (personal) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against the Detroit Pistons due to personal reasons. Young takes a seat for the first time this season, opening up Atlanta's lineup to feature backcourt sidekick Dejounte Murray as the primary ball handler on Tuesday. Depending on what type of lineup Detroit throws out there, some combination of role players Bogdan Bogdanovic, Saddiq Bey, and Onyeka Okongwu are positioned for more run in this one. The Hawks are on the front leg of back-to-back games, so it remains to be seen if Young will return to the team when they head back home to face the New York Knicks on Wednesday. Fantasy managers will want to look away from the 25-year-old superstar's field-goal percentage (35.7%) and turnovers (4.4), but Young is still managing top-50 averages in 9-category leagues with 24.4 points, 10.2 assists, 2.2 threes, and 1.6 steals.
