Shaedon Sharpe Likely To Suit Up Against Cavs
6 months agoThe Portland Trail Blazers are listing guard/forward Shaedon Sharpe (knee) as probable for Wednesday's game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. Sharpe is dealing with left knee soreness on the second part of a back-to-back, which is understandable given that he's pacing the NBA in average minutes (39.6) over 10 games. The Blazers are leaning quite heavily on the 2022 No. 7 overall pick with virtually their entire backcourt devastated by injuries, making Sharpe more appealing in 8-category fantasy leagues while averaging 19.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 treys, 1.0 steals and 3.2 turnovers this year. Sharpe hasn't missed a game this season despite the mammoth workload, but it's worth noting that he took on 41 minutes in Tuesday's 115-99 loss to the Utah Jazz. Skylar Mays would be extremely busy if Sharpe surprisingly sits, with Portland's next game on tap for Friday during an In-Season Tournament affair with the Los Angeles Lakers.
