5 months agoBaltimore Orioles closer Mychal Givens picked up his sixth save of the season in Tuesday's 4-2 game against the Blue Jays. Givens pitched a one-two-three ninth inning with two strikeouts. The 29-year-old is now 0-3 and has converted six of 10 save opportunities with a 4.82 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched. He appears to be the team's first call in save situations, but Givens' poor performance, coupled with the O's lack of save opportunities limits his fantasy upside. He is worth a look in deep leagues but not beyond that.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
