Minnesota Says Anthony Edwards Will Play Wednesday
4 months agoMinnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch says guard Anthony Edwards (knee) will play against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. Edwards has been upgraded from questionable to available with tendinitis in his left knee against a woeful Pistons team, but Minnesota could keep an eye on his minutes if they form a significant lead, creating blowout risk for DFS purposes. That shouldn't deter season-long fantasy managers from deploying Ant-Man across all formats, though, as he's playing top-50 ball with averages of 26.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.5 threes, and 1.3 steals over 36 games. Minny has a quick turnaround in the form of a matchup on Thursday versus the injury-depleted Memphis Grizzlies to begin a three-game homestand, so Edwards' status for that one remains to be seen.
