Markelle Fultz Still Out With Knee Tendinitis
6 months agoOrlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz (knee) is out for Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. Fultz's left knee tendinitis continues to linger, and he'll miss his fifth game out of six after making a brief return during Thursday's 120-119 loss to the Atlanta Hawks in Mexico City. Fantasy managers hope it's not a foreboding omen of a chronic issue for the oft-injured former No. 1 overall pick, who tore the ACL in his left knee in January of 2021. Head coach Jamahl Mosley figures to keep riding a hot-hand approach between Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony, and 2023 first-round pick Anthony Black for as long as Fultz needs to sit out. Orlando has the second end of a back-to-back coming up on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls, which marks Fultz's next opportunity to come off the injury report and return to the court.
