6 months agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker delivered a monster game from the leadoff spot on Sunday, going 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBI. This was only the third time Winker had led off in the past two months as he's mostly been hitting in the middle of the lineup while Nick Senzel has led off. Winker is slashing .244/.320/.454 with 11 home runs, 31 runs and 23 RBI across 63 games on the year. Winker's walk rate is down from 14.7% in 2018 to 8.6% this year and his barrel rate is down from 6.3% in 2018 to 4.9% this year. He's worth holding on to and could be a good buy-low candidate in NL-only leagues and 14+ team leagues. In more shallow leagues, he's right on the fringe. If you see him continue to have big games like this one, he's a solid add if you have an open spot.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
