De'Aaron Fox May Return By Saturday
7 months agoThe Athletic's Shams Charania hears that Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is considered day-to-day and could play either in Saturday or Monday's game versus the Houston Rockets. This is an encouraging development after the Kings previously announced that Fox was out indefinitely due to a right ankle sprain he suffered during last Sunday's overtime victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Davion Mitchell provided 13 points, four assists, and three steals over 29 minutes in Wednesday's spot start against the Golden State Warriors, but it appears the expiration date on his streaming appeal is already drawing near. Fox, nearly supplying first-round 9-category fantasy value on the strength of 31.3 points, 6.0 assists, 3.0 threes, and 1.3 steals per night, needs to be immediately reinserted into season-long lineups upon his return, regardless of any type of potential minutes restrictions.
