6 months agoKansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon has continued his Lazarus tour through the first half of May. In his last five games, Gordon has gone 7-for-19 with two walks, two strikeouts, two home runs, six RBI, four runs scored, and two stolen bases. On the season, he's now sitting at eight homers, 33 RBI, and his OPS is still .921. He's swinging at more pitches in the zone than ever before, he's making contact more often than ever before, and he's already got four outfield assists because even though he's been patrolling left field in KC for almost 10 years, there are still teams that don't respect his arm. The 35-year-old's renaissance is here.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
