6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (foot) is eligible to come off the disabled list as of Friday, but the team isn't ready to do that. He was seen before Friday's contest against the Dodgers throwing in the outfield, but no timetable has been given for his activation. Eaton is dealing with a bone bruise in his left ankle, a particularly concerning injury because that's the same leg that Eaton dealt with all last season when he tore his ACL. He's among baseball's top run scorers, but given how early it is in the season, the team will handle him gingerly.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
