Recent Update

9/5:The Boston Red Sox activated right-handed reliever Carson Smith from the 60-day disabled list. Smith was acquired to be the setup man to Craig Kimbrel but now sees himself battling for a roster spot going into the post season. It will be Smith’s first time pitching in the bigs since early 2016 and it will be looked at as an audition for the 2018 roster. In the corresponding move Kyle Martin was designated for assignment. Martin only logged 2 1/3 innings in his time with the Red Sox.--Jared T - RotoBaller
