Boston Scott 2020 Outlook: RB Makes For Interesting Late-Round Target
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott came out of relative obscurity to post a solid second half in the 2019 season. The second-year back rushed 61 times for 245 yards and five touchdowns while adding 24 receptions for 204 yards. While it is possible that the Eagles add to their collection of running backs at some point during the offseason, for now Scott is the No. 2 RB behind starter Miles Sanders. Scott has legitimate pass-catching ability and is an explosive player who will have value in deeper PPR leagues and would instantly become an RB2 in fantasy if an injury were to befall Sanders. Scott is currently being drafted around pick No. 159 in PPR leagues, making him a quality target for owners who employ a zero-RB draft strategy and a must-have handcuff for those who spend an early-round pick on Sanders.
