BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 6% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Landon Knack is getting a crack in the Los Angeles Dodgers rotation while the club waits for All-Star right-hander Walker Buehler (elbow) to complete his comeback from Tommy John surgery and make his highly anticipated 2024 regular-season debut.
Knack ranks as L.A.'s No. 13 prospect and presented a mixed bag overall during his first major league start on April 17 against the Washington Nationals, tossing five innings of two-run ball on four hits (one home run) and one walk with four strikeouts in a losing effort. Although his 4.81 FIP suggests he overachieved in his big-league debut, Statcast credits Knack with a more encouraging 2.76 xERA following the appearance.

The 26-year-old rookie right-hander is slated to get another shot at the Nats when he toes the slab on Wednesday, and a Washington team that ranks 27th in runs scored (80) as of April 23 offers a favorable matchup. Knack should be treated as a short-term streaming option and a worthy pickup for fantasy managers ahead of his next scheduled appearance, but he may very well be headed back to the minor leagues when Buehler rejoins the Dodgers' active roster likely early next week.
