Zach Collins, Devin Vassell Likely To Suit Up Wednesday
5 months agoSan Antonio Spurs center Zach Collins (thumb) and forward Devin Vassell (knee) are both listed as probable for Wednesday's game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. Neither player missed last Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans with their respective injuries, so their designations on San Antonio's injury report come off as mere formalities after five days off. Collins is struggling with turnovers (2.8 per game) alongside the ultra-talented Victor Wembanyama in the Spurs frontcourt, but he's still averaging a solid 13.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.1 treys in 29.2 minutes over 19 games ahead of a tough draw against Minnesota's vaunted frontcourt. Vassell is still working to get back into head coach Gregg Popovich's starting five after missing five games earlier in the year with an adductor strain, averaging an efficient 20.0 points, 3.2 threes, and 1.0 swipes in 26.8 minutes over his last five appearances from the bench.
