Rafael Devers Scratched Late On Sunday
9 months agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (wrist) has been scratched from Sunday's lineup versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Luis Urias will slide to third base and hit ninth while Pablo Reyes (elbow) will fight through an elbow issue to cover second base and bat sixth in this one. The 26-year-old Devers was hit by a pitch on his right wrist during Saturday's affair, so he still seems to be in enough pain to require a maintenance day. Boston is right back in action on Monday for the start of a three-game set with the Houston Astros, so that will be Devers' next chance to return to the lineup. Fantasy managers will need to monitor the status of the two-time All-Star, who is hitting .272 with an .863 OPS, 29 home runs, 28 doubles, and 88 RBI in 471 at-bats this year.
