Jake Fraley Unavailable Off Bench On Friday
9 months agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jake Fraley, who started Friday's game versus the Washington Nationals on the bench, was not available to play at all, per manager David Bell. The Nats were throwing southpaw Patrick Corbin for this one, but it appears the lefty-hitting Fraley was not out for matchup-related reasons. Consider the 28-year-old day-to-day, but there should be an update on his status ahead of Saturday's action. Fraley's 2022 second-half surge has carried over into 2023, as he's slashing a solid .263/.346/.467 with 15 home runs, 63 RBI, and 20 stolen bases over 327 plate appearances. Fantasy managers hope to see him return soon.
