Kris Bryant Held Out Of Sunday’s Lineup
10 months agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (finger) is not seen in Sunday's lineup against the Miami Marlins. The 31-year-old left Saturday's game early after his finger was struck by a pitch, so he'll get a day of maintenance here. Bryant is slashing a mediocre .251/.338/.379 with eight home runs, 23 RBI, and 27 runs scored in 243 at-bats as a 2023 fantasy bust thus far. Fantasy managers hanging on to the former NL MVP hope that Bryant can return to the mix on Monday for the series opener against the Washington Nationals. Nolan Jones patrols right field and hits sixth while Randal Grichuk operates as the designated hitter and bats fifth for Sunday's matchup.
