6 days agoFormer title challenger Alex Perez rebounded from three straight defeats on Saturday when he scored a second-round knockout victory over Matheus Nicolau. This was his first fight after 1,421 days of inactivity. After replacing an injured Manel Kape against Nicolau on Saturday night, Perez had a lot on the line after losing three fights in a row. 6 days agoAriane Lipski suffered a unanimous decision loss to Karine Silva at UFC Vegas 91 on Saturday. Lipski was last seen in action at the UFC 296 event, where she defeated Casey O'Neill via second-round armbar. In 15 minutes of action, Lipski landed 42 significant strikes compared to Silva who landed 27. Lipski had success with her striking but was taken down and controlled by Silva on a few occasions. 6 days agoKarine Silva picked up a decision win over Ariane Lipski on the main card of UFC Vegas 91 on Saturday. It's the first time in the Brazilian's career she won a fight on the scorecards. This was a closely contested fight, where Silva edged out a decision win by taking Lipski down five times and by having better spells of control on the mat. 6 days agoJonathan Pearce suffered a unanimous decision loss to David Onama on the main card of UFC Vegas 91 on Saturday. Throughout the fight, Pearce struggled with closing the distance and with Onama's speed. Pearce did, however, land five takedowns in this fight, compared to Onama who had only one takedown attempt. This was Onama's second victory in a row. In 15 minutes of action, Onama landed 58 significant strikes. Medic was forced to defend takedowns from the get-go, but after getting to his feet, he landed an uppercut that dropped Means and Medic landed one punch to put him out cold. Lane was coming off a knockout loss to Justin Tafa after he had a No Contest in his debut against Tafa due to an eye poke. Entering the bout, Lane was the underdog, and after winning the first round, the former NFL player got caught with a massive punch that knocked him out cold. Spann entered the bout on a two-fight losing streak but was the betting favorite. The American had success in the first round, but in the second round, he was caught by a big shot that rocked him and Guskov finished him with ground-and-pound. 1 week agoBogdan Guskov improved to 16-3 as a pro with a second-round TKO win over Ryan Spann in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 91. Guskov entered the bout as the underdog and after losing the opening round, he rallied in the second round and hurt Spann on the feet before landing ground-and-pound shots to get the TKO win. With the victory, Guskov is now 2-1 in the UFC and is on a two-fight winning streak. A top-10 opponent could be next for Guskov after UFC Vegas 91.Source: UFC

Perez (24-8) has recorded three straight losses, going down to Deiveson Figueiredo in a flyweight championship fight in November 2020, followed by defeats to current division champion Alexandre Pantoja and Muhammad Mokaev in July 2022 and March of this year respectively.
