NBA DFS FanDuel Advice & Sleepers – Lineup Picks for 3/29/15

All throughout the 2014-15 NBA campaign, RotoBaller will be analyzing the top NBA DFS lineup picks and providing our expert advice for the best sleepers at the guard, forward and center positions. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for Sunday March 29th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth the FanDuel Investment

George Hill (IND, G) - $7,500

George Hill has really been tearing it up as of late, as the Indiana Pacers have looked to him to become the main offensive option on the team. Paul George has yet to return from his leg injury. Roy Hibbert has not been effective from a fantasy standpoint. David West is not coming anywhere close to the lofty scoring expectations set for him by fans at the beginning of the season. Meanwhile, George Hill has taken the opportunity to become the best player on this team.

In his last eight games, Hill has averaged 22.3 points, 5.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals. His high usage rate on the team as well as his rather admirable efficiency has allowed Hill to keep the Pacers relevant in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Hill’s performances have been eye-popping as well, including a game winning lay-up against Washington on Wednesday. And don't forget about his great game against Milwaukee on Thursday when he hit six threes. Hill’s numbers will continue to stay inflated as long as George is out of the lineup. Even if George unpredictably enters the lineup one game, his minutes would be limited, and Hill should continue to produce anyway.

Honorable Mention: Isaiah Thomas (BOS, G)

Markieff Morris (PHO, F) - $7,100

It’s been a nice breakout season for Markieff Morris. His numbers had already been quite good in the first half of the season, but the departures of Goran Dragic and Isaiah Thomas as well as the current injury to Brandon Knight have allowed Morris to take on a bigger scoring role for the team. Morris contributes across the scoreboard, and provides a solid young front court piece for the Suns.

In his last eight games, Morris has averaged 19.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.8 blocks. Morris provides steady value at the power forward position, as he is a relatively inexpensive option that will not have a random dud night when you need him the most. Morris should have his way in the mid-range game as well as the paint on Sunday against Oklahoma City. The absence of Serge Ibaka as his primary defender should also aid Morris’s production.

Honorable Mention: Trevor Ariza (HOU, F)

Brook Lopez (BKN, C) - $8,200

Brook Lopez? Yeah Brook Lopez. Lopez’s production as of late has been well worth his price tag on FanDuel. The Nets are struggling to stay relevant in this playoff race, and the backcourt core of Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, and Jarret Jack has been struggling to put everything together and remain consistent. It looks as if Coach Lionel Hollins is trying to involve Lopez more in the offense, and the results are showing.

In his last five games, Lopez is averaging 28.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 2.8 blocks. This is a great time to roster him, as the big man has been producing at an incredible clip. If Lopez can avoid injury, he should be one of the best players on the Nets. Look for Lopez to dominate the post against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. He should create incredible matchup issues against the rather unsteady lineup of the Lakers.

Honorable Mention: Enes Kanter (OKC, C)

DFS Sleeper Picks

Chase Budinger (MIN, F) - $5,000

Chase Budinger is one of those players that has the ability to step into the starting the lineup when called upon and produce plentifully for his team. With the recent absence of Kevin Martin from the starting lineup of the Timberwolves, Budinger has provided plenty of fantasy value as the replacement. Martin had been one of the main offensive options for the team, and Budinger has filled in the holes of scoring, providing some help in other categories too.

In his last eight games, Budinger has averaged 14.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.0 steals. His numbers have been especially great in his last two games, with a 22-point effort against the Lakers and a 23-point game against the Houston Rockets. Budinger should be a solid pick at the second small forward position for those running low on money in their budget tonight.

Honorable Mention: Zach LaVine (MIN, G)
