In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 2/8/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook (at PHO, $11,100)

Russell Westbrook's price tag is now ridiculously high, so he is no longer a great 50/50 option, but he is still great in tournaments. In his last six games, he has over 50 fantasy points in five of them. The Phoenix Suns are the worst team in the league against opposing point guards right now, and Westbrook should be able to score whenever he feels like it. This game has the potential to get out of hand quickly, so banking on Westbrook to play the entire game is not a good idea. If the Suns do somehow keep it close, Westbrook is liable to post over 70 fantasy points. Due to his insane upside, use him in tournaments.

Archie Goodwin (vs OKC, $5,200) 

Archie Goodwin has been solid over his last three games, and he should continue to play well tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder. As I previously mentioned, this game has the ability to get out of hand, but Goodwin will play full minutes regardless. The Suns are very used to losing, and they rarely bench their "starters." In his last three games, Goodwin has over 25 fantasy points in two of them. Against the Toronto Raptors, he scored 18 points, assisted the ball 12 times, and posted over 35 fantasy points. He is still rather cheap on FanDuel, so use that to your advantage. He can be deployed in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

 

FanDuel DFS Forwards

LeBron James (vs SAC, $10,200) 

LeBron James has been playing great over his last few games. The Sacramento Kings are not going to be able to slow him down, but this game could also get out of hand. DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo are more likely to keep the game close than Archie Goodwin and Markieff Morris are though. James has over 40 fantasy points in nine of his last 10 games. He also has over 50 fantasy points in three of those games. His price tag is a little high right now, but he is worth it in 50/50 contests. He is a very consistent player, and he will provide a solid foundation for your lineup.

Tristan Thompson (vs SAC, $4,600) 

Kevin Love is questionable tonight with a bruised left thigh. If Love sits out, Thompson is not really going to see more minutes, but he will see better production. The Sacramento Kings are terrible against opposing power forwards, so Thompson should be able to produce. His price tag is very low, so he is one of the better value plays on the board. Even if Kevin Love plays, Thompson will see around 30-40 minutes tonight. He has over 20 fantasy points in six of his last 10 games. Thompson can be used in all formats if Love sits out, but if Love does play, use Thompson in tournaments only.

 

FanDuel DFS Centers

Gorgui Dieng (vs NOR, $6,100) 

Gorgui Dieng exploded in his last game, which was against the Chicago Bulls. He posted over 50 fantasy points in 41 minutes, scoring 24 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. He also added seven assists, almost completing the triple-double. He has been very solid of recent, and he just keeps getting better. The New Orleans Pelicans are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing centers, so feel free to fire up Dieng in all formats. He is the best center option on the board for his price. It is difficult to avoid DeMarcus Cousins, but it has to be done.
