- "Shots attempted per 60 minutes" reflects a players shots on net + shots that missed net + shots that were blocked. It's a key stat to show how much a player possesses the puck generally, and is a predictive indicator for the number of shots a player will get on net.
- "Points per 60 minutes" reflects a players point production per 60 minutes of ice time. This is a great indicator of how productive a player is in their ice time. If a player has a high Points/60, and they get moved up to a top line, they'll represent a key sleeper play in the we

NHL DFS Picks for for Tuesday, November 10th
There is a huge slate of 12 games in the NHL Tuesday night and with it brings a ton of big tournaments on DraftKings and FanDuel. With so many games it gives us a great opportunity to form multiple lineups to give us the best shot at winning a large field tournament. The large slate also offers us a lower ownership percentage on the obvious cash game plays and then add to it that most of the top goaltenders should be starting and you have an excellent daily fantasy hockey night. Here are a few core plays for Tuesday.
Henrik Lundqvist - Goaltender, Rangers (DraftKings - $7,900 FanDuel - $10,100)
Tied with Jake Allen and Micheal Neuvirth for the NHL lead in save %(.945) among goalies with at least five starts. He makes a slightly better play on DraftKings where he will take up 15.8% of your salary vs. 18.4% on FanDuel. No matter where you are using him he makes a great play in a matchup vs. the Hurricanes.
Tyler Seguin - Center, Stars (DraftKings - $8,800 FanDuel - $8,800)
Ranked second behind Alex Ovechkin in shot attempts per 60 minutes and tied with Patrick Kane for the NHL points lead. Has been one of the driving forces behind the leagues 2nd ranked offense. Great matchup at home vs. the Leafs.
Joe Pavelski - Winger, Sharks (DraftKings - $7,500 FanDuel - $8,300)
He is a Center on DraftKings but falls as a RW on FanDuel and makes a great play on both sites. His seven game point streak ended vs. the Ducks on Saturday, but that just means he is due to start another streak. He has a nice floor with 55 shots on the year and a +8 rating and carries multi point upside in a matchup vs. the Islanders.
Daniel Sedin - Winger, Canucks (DraftKings - $6,400 FanDuel - $7,000)
Has been a very consistent cash game play this year 11 points in 15 games and is averaging 17.5 shot attempts per 60 minutes of ice time. He enters a nice matchup on Tuesday in Columbus vs. the Blue Jackets who are allowing 3.6 goals per game.
Dustin Byfuglien - Defense, Jets (DraftKings - $6,000 FanDuel - $7,400)
He is a bit cheaper on DraftKings as he doesn't get the added penalty minutes and +/- but still makes a great play with multi point upside. His floor is high on both sites as he takes a ton of shots, blocks some shots, gets top PP time, and also adds penalty minutes and +/- to his resume. Safe in all formats.
