Yahoo Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (4/5/17): NBA DFS Advice

NBA is still going strong. Russell Westbrook recently tied the record for most triple-doubles in a single season. He will look to break that tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies, a tough team to produce against. It should be a fun one. Let's get down to business here.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for Yahoo on 4/5/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on Yahoo.

Yahoo DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, at MEM ($64)

Russell Westbrook just recently tied Oscar Robertson's single-season triple-doubles record. For the rest of the season, he will be looking to break that record, starting tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies. His price tag on Yahoo is obviously very high, but he is worth it. With over 60 fantasy points in five consecutive games, and over 70 fantasy points in two of his last three games, Westbrook has both consistency and upside. He posted over 90 fantasy points in 42 minutes against the Orlando Magic three games ago. No other fantasy option in the league, aside from perhaps James Harden, can say they have upside like that. Roster Westbrook in all leagues.

JJ Redick - SG, vs DAL ($12)

JJ Redick has been playing big minutes for the Los Angeles Clippers of recent, and he is expected to see 30 minutes on the court tonight against the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks are struggling to stay healthy, and Redick should be able to take advantage of the various guard injuries defensively. In his last three games, Redick has 29, 14.7, and 35 fantasy points. He played over 30 minutes in every game. His price tag is far too low on Yahoo. Roster him as a salary relief option in all leagues.

Also Consider: Jamal Crawford - SG, vs DAL ($11)

LaMarcus Aldridge - PF, vs LAL ($31)

LaMarcus Aldridge was questionable to play last night, but he did end up suiting up. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers, and it is likely that he plays. He has been posting over 30 fantasy points per game on a consistent basis over his last few games, and that trend should continue against a terrible defensive team. In two of his last six games, Aldridge has over 40 fantasy points, so he does have decent upside, as well. Roster him in all leagues.

Andre Roberson - SF, at MEM ($10)

Andre Roberson could be the best fantasy option on the Oklahoma City Thunder's team because of his low price tag. Move over, Russell Westbrook. Roberson is expected to play over 30 minutes tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies, and despite the poor matchup, he should easily hit value. Roberson has over 20 fantasy points in three consecutive games. He is one of the best salary relief options available. Roster him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Also Consider: Jared Dudley - PF, vs GSW ($10)

Yahoo DFS Centers

Nene - C, vs DEN ($10)

Forget about spending up at the center position. Nene is as cheap as it gets, and he is the best center option on the board. The Denver Nuggets are horrible defensively, and Nene should be able to take advantage of that. He has at least 25 fantasy points in four of his last five games, despite not playing big minutes. If the Houston Rockets would just unleash the beast, he would have 40 plus fantasy point upside. Instead, continue to roster him in all leagues, as he will continue to post around 25 fantasy points and hit value in 20-25 minutes.

Also Consider: Tarik Black - C, at SAS ($10)
