Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Travis Hunter (knee) is out for another three games minimum, Brenton Strange (hip, quadriceps) is sidelined, and Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) is struggling in 2025 and rolled his ankle late in the game on Sunday, and is questionable heading into Week 10. The Jaguars traded for Jakobi Meyers on Tuesday; however, Washington should still receive a majority of the looks on Sunday against the Houston Texans while Meyers adjusts to the new offense.
The unfortunate news is that the Texans are a tough matchup, allowing the fourth fewest points to opposing wide receivers. Derek Stingley Jr. is also one of the top cornerbacks in the game, so it might be tough sledding for the Jaguar pass catcher he guards on Sunday. That said, the targets should be there for Washington, as he's now seen 19 over his last two games, making him a flex option in Week 10 and a must-add off the waiver wire.
Kyle Monangai, RB, Chicago Bears
The matchup is ideal, as the Giants have allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs and just surrendered massive outings to Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey.
With heavy winds expected, the Bears should lean on the run game. Monangai carries high-end RB3 value if Swift plays, but if Swift sits, Monangai has legitimate RB1 upside.
Devin Singletary, RB, New York Giants
Singletary was also more efficient with his touches, averaging 5.38 YPC to Tracy's 3.60 YPC. It's a small sample size of one game, so it's important not to overreact, considering Tracy was the starter in 2024; however, it's a situation to monitor moving forward, and Singletary no longer deserves to be on the waiver wire in 12-team formats.
He should be rostered heading into Week 10 and has some RB3 value against the Chicago Bears, who rank middle of the pack against opposing running backs.
Josh Downs, WR, Indianapolis Colts
Downs will look to find the end zone again in a Week 10 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin. The Falcons have been tough on opposing receivers this season, allowing the 26th-most fantasy points per game to the position.
The third-year wide receiver will have his work cut out for him, but he can be trusted as a solid WR4/flex option for fantasy gamers heading into Week 10.
Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills
The fourth-year receiver is on pace to exceed last year's breakout season. Shakir is currently on pace for 80 receptions, 848 yards, and six touchdowns, all career highs.
The team has done an excellent job of getting the ball into Shakir's hands on short-to-intermediate passes and letting him use his elusiveness to gain yards after the catch. Look for another high-usage day as quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills offense attack their divisional rival.
