BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Detroit Lions running back Tion Green ran the ball seven times for 43 yards against the Bengals on Sunday, scoring his second rushing touchdown of the season. Green has been somewhere between five and 11 carries in his four NFL games and is averaging 4.4 yards per carry on his 33 NFL carries. He has yet to catch a pass this season, mainly because Theo Riddick is the receiving back in Detroit, but Green has done enough on his carries to garner some interest.

Ameer Abdullah is averaging just 3.4 yards this season and, while he is the leading rusher for the Lions this season with 534 yards, he has done nothing to grab hold of the starting job. Riddick is probably still the most attractive back for Detroit, mainly because of his receiving, but he too has averaged just 3.5 yards per carry on his 80 carries this season. Green has his opportunity to make an impact with the Lions, but does need more than the seven carries that he had on Sunday.

A matchup against the Packers, who allow the 11th-most points against running backs, is a good close to 2017 for Green and the Lions. In the teams' first matchup, the Lions ran the ball 33 times, but only gained 64 yards, showing that the team tried hard to run the ball against a weaker run defense. If Green can capitalize on workload like that at home, he could have value as a low-end RB3.
