We have a great Monday night slate of baseball on tap tonight with some elite hitting matchups. I love this slate for many reasons, but the main point is that Coors Field is no longer on it, which opens up a ton of options for tonight's slate. That said, it is a perfect slate for GPPs because of the low-rostered offense I plan to stack.

Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Jose Soriano, SP - LAA ($9.6K DK/$11.4K FD)
Jose Soriano will square off against the Chicago White Sox tonight at home at Angel Stadium. I love it when we get a great pitcher at home, as I have been leaning into home and road splits more and more as of late. Soriano will be a core pitcher and my SP1 in all formats tonight.
Soriano has been a Cy Young-level pitcher in 2026. He has a 2.96 xFIP, 30.1% K%, 14.0% SwStr%, 0.94 WHIP, and a 0.63 HR/9 this season. He has struggled with his command a bit in his last two starts, but a matchup with the White Sox at home should get him right.
This season, the White Sox have a 23.6% K% and a 91 wRC+ against RHP, with a .682 OPS. They are hot at the moment, but have done a ton of damage with the long ball. Soriano has an elite 30.9% FB% and a 0.63 HR/9 as mentioned earlier, which will give the White Sox fits in this spot.

Chicago Cubs (Model-Projected IRT of 7.8 runs) vs. Chase Petty
It looks like we have another wind game in Wrigley today, this time in favor of the hitters. It will be in the low 70s at first pitch tonight, with 10+ mph winds blowing out. The Cubs will square off tonight against Chase Petty, who will be making his season debut for the Reds.
In Triple-A this season, Petty has posted a 4.11 xFIP, 27.4% K%, 1.34 WHIP, 1.09 HR/9, 33.0% FB%, and a 48.5% Hard-Hit%. In 2025, in his short stint in the big leagues, he allowed a 45.8% Hard-Hit% as well. Allowing this much hard contact in these elements is going to be trouble for Petty.
The Cubs are on fire as well. They have a .746 OPS and a 112 wRC+ against RHP this season and a .790 OPS with a 122 wRC+ over their last 14 games. Fire up the Cubs tonight in all formats.

JJ Wetherholt will square off against Chad Patrick tonight, who has allowed a .332 wOBA, .404 SLG, and five extra base hits to left-handed hitters this season. Wetherholt is slashing .235/.356/.459 with a .815 OPS and 5 HRs against right-handed pitching this season. He has a 1.211 OPS over his last 23 plate appearances against the split.
