The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are finalizing a deal to hire Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson as their offensive coordinator, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN. Robinson will stay in the NFC South and join Tampa after running the Falcons' offense the last two years under previous head coach Raheem Morris. Before that, Robinson spent five years working under Sean McVay, eventually serving as the OC for the Los Angeles Rams for his last two years there. He had a lot to work with in Atlanta, but Robinson just couldn't get the Falcons over the hump, as they finished 24th in scoring offense in 2025. However, with Bijan Robinson at running back, the team was in the top 10 in rushing yards in each of the last two seasons. Robinson will now look to help quarterback Baker Mayfield bounce back in 2026.--Keith Hernandez

The Buffalo Bills interviewed offensive coordinator Joe Brady for their head-coaching job on Wednesday, according to Alaina Geztenberg of ESPN. Brady has been the team's offensive coordinator for the last two seasons, which makes him an obvious candidate to replace Sean McDermott, who was fired on Monday after nine seasons at the helm. Before being promoted to the OC role in Buffalo, Brady was the team's quarterbacks coach in 2022 and 2023, so he has plenty of experience working with quarterback Josh Allen. In Brady's two seasons calling the plays, the Bills averaged 30.6 points per game in 2024 (second-most) and 28.3 points (third-most) in 2025. They ranked third in yards per game this season with 378.2. In addition to the Bills, Brady also interviewed for head-coaching jobs with the Falcons, Raiders, Cardinals, and Ravens.--Keith Hernandez

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton said that surgery "went well" for quarterback Bo Nix (ankle), according to Nick Kosmider of The Athletic. Nix had surgery for a broken bone in his right ankle that he suffered at the tail end of Saturday's overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. The 25-year-old had one of his best games of the season, too, going 26-for-46 for 279 passing yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. The Broncos haven't given a timetable for Nix's recovery, but we'd be surprised if he wasn't ready to go for the start of the 2026 campaign, where he'll easily be a top-12 fantasy QB. With Nix out for the AFC Championship this weekend against the visiting New England Patriots, the Broncos will go with backup Jarrett Stidham, who hasn't started a game in the NFL since 2023.--Keith Hernandez

The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that the Philadelphia Eagles' vacant offensive-coordinator position is not viewed as an attractive opening around the league. "I think coordinators on this list are aware that navigating Philly is difficult, and it's not the easiest place to step into--especially if you're looking for a successful few years," Russini said. Neither former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel nor former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll wanted the job, and the Eagles reportedly were willing to give them both "full autonomy" over the offense, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Eagles fired Kevin Patullo after one year in the role, but they're having a difficult time bringing in some of the top names on their wish list. The latest candidate to emerge is former Kansas City Chiefs OC Matt Nagy after he lost out on the Tennessee Titans' head-coaching gig.--Keith Hernandez

The Philadelphia Eagles interviewed former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for their offensive-coordinator job on Wednesday, sources told Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network. Nagy was previously an intern and assistant for head coach Andy Reid with the Eagles from 2008 to 2012. He is now exploring a few OC options around the league since he didn't get the head-coaching job with the Tennessee Titans. The Chiefs' offense took a step back under Nagy the last few seasons, and they will turn back to former OC Eric Bieniemy now that Nagy's contract is up. If Nagy were to land the gig in Philadelphia, he'd be in charge of an offense with plenty of weapons, but one that went stagnant under first-year OC Kevin Patullo in 2025. The 47-year-old also went 34-33 as the Chicago Bears' head coach from 2018 to 2021.--Keith Hernandez

The Buffalo Bills requested an interview with Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver for their head-coaching job, sources told The Athletic's Dianna Russini. The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers also have strong interest in Weaver for their head-coaching positions. Although Miami's defense was a weak spot in 2025, Weaver is generating plenty of head-coaching buzz this cycle. We would think he'd be more of a long shot to replace Sean McDermott in Buffalo for a couple of reasons. Weaver doesn't have any prior head-coaching experience, and reports have also suggested that the Bills probably prefer to hire an offensive-minded head coach who can connect with franchise quarterback Josh Allen. In addition to Weaver, the Bills have requested interviews with former Giants head coach Brian Daboll, Jags OC Grant Udinski, and Colts DC Lou Anarumo.--Keith Hernandez

The Buffalo Bills requested to interview former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll for their head-coaching job, a source told The Athletic's Dianna Russini. Daboll has ties to Buffalo and president of football operations Brandon Beane, having served as their offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2021, and he's also a native of Western New York. During Daboll's time in New York, the Bills' offense was a top-five unit in yards and points per game in 2020 and 2021. Daboll didn't have much success as a head coach with the Giants, but his prior success with Allen could make him a leading candidate for the job to replace Sean McDermott, who was fired on Monday. If Daboll doesn't get the job in Buffalo, he's expected to become the Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator under new head coach Robert Saleh. The Bills also plan to interview Jaguars OC Grant Udinski and Colts DC Lou Anarumo.--Keith Hernandez

The Buffalo Bills requested to interview Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski for their head-coaching job, a source told Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. The 30-year-old rising young coach also has a second head-coaching interview scheduled with the Cleveland Browns on Friday. After firing Sean McDermott on Friday, the Bills could shake things up and go with a young offensive-minded coach like Udinski to lead their team moving forward while also hopefully developing strong chemistry with quarterback Josh Allen. The Bills led the NFL in rushing in 2025, but it didn't help them get over the hump and return to the Super Bowl. Udinski, who helped quarterback Trevor Lawrence play the best football of his career this year, could potentially improve Buffalo's passing attack going forward. Still, Udinski might be a stretch with no head-coaching or play-calling experience in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez

The Buffalo Bills requested to interview Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo for their head-coaching vacancy, a source told Dianna Russini of The Athletic. Anarumo interviewed for head-coaching positions with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans before both those positions were filled, and now he'll get another head-coaching interview after the Bills fired Sean McDermott on Monday. The 59-year-old helped the Colts' defense finish 23rd in yards allowed and 21st in points allowed in his first year with the team in 2025. Reports have suggested that the Bills will most likely go with an offensive mind to pair with quarterback Josh Allen, which could make Anarumo more of a long shot to land the job. Expectations will be high for whoever is hired, since McDermott was fired after leading the Bills to eight playoff wins in his nine years at the helm.--Keith Hernandez

League sources emphasized on Monday that Houston Texans offensive coordinator Nick Caley is expected to return for a second season, according to KPRC2 Sports' Aaron Wilson. If the Texans had chosen to move on from Caley, it would have meant three offensive coordinators heading into head coach DeMeco Ryans' fourth year. "I would anticipate Nick being here next year," general manager Nick Caserio said. "All of us are just trying to improve and do what we can to make the team and the organization better. I think Nick has grown a lot." Although the Texans' offense got off to a rough start and looked bad in two playoff games, progress was made in 2025 as Caley gained a comfort level and built rapport with players. Houston had a 10-game winning streak and finished 13th in scoring offense, 18th in total offense, 14th in passing offense, and 22nd in rushing offense. The move to retain Caley should be good news for quarterback C.J. Stroud, who has regressed in two years since his marvelous rookie campaign.--Keith Hernandez

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold (oblique) "continues to get better" but will be limited in practice this week as he deals with a left-oblique injury that he suffered in practice last Thursday, according to head coach Mike Macdonald. Darnold won't throw every pass in practice, but the plan is still for him to start on Sunday in the NFC Championship against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams. The 28-year-old went 12-for-17 passing for 124 yards and a touchdown in the 40-6 blowout win over the Niners. Darnold could draw another questionable tag going into the weekend, but all signs point to him suiting up as he attempts to lead the Seahawks to the Super Bowl. We expect Darnold to have to throw the ball much more against the Rams, which will give him a higher fantasy ceiling. In two games against L.A. this year, Darnold went 51-for-78 for 549 yards, two touchdowns, and six picks.--Keith Hernandez

Both San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch seem intent on keeping quarterback Mac Jones around going into next season as the backup for Brock Purdy, according to Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group. "We're not into getting rid of good players. I'd be surprised if he's not here next year," Shanahan said. "Mac made this place better and picked us up in a huge way ... Can't say enough about his play but also his leadership," Lynch said. The 27-year-old kept the 49ers afloat in 2025 with Purdy missing a chunk of time due to a turf-toe injury. He was in the first year of a two-year, $8.4 million contract, and all signs point to Jones returning in 2026 as one of the better backup QBs in the league. As a starter for the Niners this year, Jones went 5-3 while completing 69.6% of his passes for 2,151 yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions.--Keith Hernandez

The Arizona Cardinals are bringing in Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile for a second, in-person interview for their head-coaching job on Thursday, sources told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The Jaguars' emergence in 2025 was spurred mostly by the defensive unit, which ranked first against the run. Campanile could be the favorite to take over in the desert after the team fired Jonathan Gannon. In addition to the Cardinals, Campanile interviewed for the head-coaching job with the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins. In addition to being first against the run under Campanile this year, the Jaguars' defense was second in takeaways and allowed the third-lowest rushing success rate and 11th-lowest drop-back success rate. If he were to be hired in Arizona, figuring out the quarterback situation would be at the top of his list of priorities.--Keith Hernandez

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane said that quarterback Josh Allen (foot) might need surgery on his right foot, but if he does, he should be ready for organized team activities in the spring, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Allen initially injured his foot in Week 16, but he played through soreness the rest of the year before being eliminated by the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. The 29-year-old former MVP also battled a left-knee injury and a right-finger injury in the postseason. Either way, Allen should be completely fine for the start of training camp this summer and the start of the 2026 regular season in the fall. He once again led all QBs in fantasy points during the regular season in 2025 with 3,668 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 17 games, adding 579 rushing yards and a league-high 14 TDs. Even with head coach Sean McDermott gone, Allen should be the first QB off the board in fantasy football drafts this fall.--Keith Hernandez

If former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll doesn't land the Buffalo Bills' head-coaching job, he is expected to wind up as the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans under new head coach Robert Saleh, sources told Dianna Russini of The Athletic. The Philadelphia Eagles are conducting their offensive-coordinator search with the understanding that Daboll wants the Bills' head-coach job. Daboll has history with the Bills, as he was their OC from 2018 to 2021. If he doesn't go back to Buffalo, Daboll will head to Tennessee, where he'd work with former the former No. 1 overall pick in quarterback Cameron Ward. The Miami product has the physical skills to succeed in the NFL, but he needs to improve his accuracy after throwing 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his first 17 NFL games in 2025.--Keith Hernandez
