6 months agoThe Chicago White Sox have prompted catcher prospect Zack Collins. Collins will replace Welington Castillo (oblique) who was placed on the 10-day injured list with an oblique injury. Collins was a first-round pick in 2016 and has been hitting .258 with nine home runs for Triple-A Charlotte this season. James McCann has been doing a fine job for the White Sox behind the dish, so it’s unclear USF how much playing time Collins will receive. Collins can also be used as a designated hitter. The youngster is worth rostering to see what he can do at a tough position for fantasy owners, but be aware that he may not be up for the long term.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
