3 years agoTight end Zach Miller was well on his way toward a career year before injuries knocked him out of the season early. Before going down, he caught 47-of-64 passes for 486 yards and four touchdowns despite inconsistent quarterback play all season long. With low yardage totals more often than not, he was much more of a PPR play than one for standard scoring, as he crossed the 50-yard marker in only four of 11 games played. Once Miller was lost for the season, the Bears more or less phased out the position from their passing plans, giving no one a real shot at replacing his production. This bodes well for Miller's future role with the team. If he stays on the field all of 2017, he could put up a low-end TE1 season.--Tony
