7/9:Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton, the other Baltimore Oriole who is expected to be playing elsewhere after July 31, recorded his second save of the season on Monday in the first game of a doubleheader against the New York Yankees. The left-hander worked a scoreless ninth, throwing 15 pitches and allowing one hit, in the Orioles' 5-4 win. It is the fourth straight scorless outing for Britton, who continues to work his way back from an Achilles injury. In 12 appearances, the 30-year-old has a 4.63 ERA across 11 2/3 innings.--Neil Tardy - RotoBaller
