7/16:How many times are we going to see that headline this year? New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes left Saturday’s game against the Colorado Rockies with a hip injury. The injury came when Cespedes dived on a Nolen Arenado bloop single in the sixth inning, taking an odd fall in the process. You can now add “hip” to the list of injuries Yo has suffered this season, along with the quad and hamstring ailments he’s already had the misfortune of incurring. This one comes with particularly unfortunate timing as Cespedes was 1-for-3 with a run scored when he left, one night after he finished 4-for-4. It’s unclear how severe the injury is at the moment, but we do know there’s a chance he plays today so it doesn’t sound serious.--Andrew Bua - RotoBaller
