5 months agoThe New York Mets put the Washington Nationals away early Tuesday night thanks to their catcher, a former Nationals player himself. Starting catcher Wilson Ramos drilled a grand slam as the sixth batter to come to the plate in the first inning. It was his lone hit of the game but clearly he wouldn't have a bigger hit the rest of the night. The slam was Ramos' second home run of the year as his batting has picked up as of late. Across the last seven days, he's hitting .375 with five RBI.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
