6 months agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers found his stroke Saturday afternoon teeing off twice against the Blue Jays finishing the day with four runs and four RBI. He now has nine homers on the season as he finished the day with three walks and a hit-by-pitch reaching base in all six plate appearances. It's been a disappointing season for Myers overall slashing .232/.316/.445 with 19 RBI and 25 runs, although he's managed to stay healthy this year which has always been his biggest knock against him. Myers had gone hitless in his last five starts, and hopefully, this outing helps jumpstart his year after getting demoted to the bottom third of the lineup. There's plenty of season left so owners should remain patient with the 28-year-old.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
