1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler will be activated from the disabled list prior to Thursday's matchup against the Cubs. He was scheduled to make a rehab appearance but ended up in the Dodger clubhouse instead. This is an interesting move for Los Angeles, as they have gone against the status quo again by bringing up an injured pitcher without a rehab appearance. Buehler is supposed to pitch three innings and will serve these innings from the bullpen initially. A move to the rotation could come next week. When healthy, Buehler struck out 54 in 51 1/3 innings and recorded a 2.64 ERA. If he is available, pick him up. The Dodgers are poised for another playoff run and Buehler can contribute solid starts.--Tommy Vaughn - RotoBaller
