Victor Oladipo 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoIndiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo was slept on by many fantasy players last season, but after a breakout year, he'll be a hot commodity this time around come draft time. He was named an All-Star for the very first time in his career, picked up the Most Improved Player Award and also ended up in the All-Defensive First Team and the All-NBA Third Team after averaging 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 2.4 steals per game -- all of which are his career-highs. Oladipo took his field goal percentage to 47.7 percent, while also shooting the three-ball at a decent clip with 37.1 percent. He ended up disappointing a bit in the playoffs as he shot just 41.7 percent from the floor, but that should only work as a motivator for him during the offseason workouts. There was quite a bit of uncertainty surrounding the Pacers following the departure of Paul George, but Oladipo showed that there is life after him. Don't hesitate to scoop him up in your league.
