12/14:Detroit Tigers designated hitter Victor Martinez (heart) who missed time due to an irregular heartbeat last season, is healthy and has been working out this offseason. V-Mart is close to turning 39 years old and is coming off his worst professional season, hitting just .255 with 10 home runs and 47 RBI for Detroit in 2017. He underwent a heart ablation procedure in October, but he has since been given a clean bill of health and has been cleared for full baseball activities. At this point in Martinez's career, he's no lock to play anywhere near a full season in 2018, and his skills across the board have deteriorated. Add in the fact that he's only eligible at DH, and he's basically useless to most fantasy owners.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
