8/12:Aside from a hiccup in the fourth inning, Ubaldo Jimenez looked like he was going to have one of his best outings of 2017. He racked up 11 strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. The righty issued one walk. He looked to be the winner, but Brad Brach gave up two runs in the bottom of the eighth to give up the lead and the game. The 11 strikeouts could be seen as encouraging, but it was Oakland, who hardly boasts a Murderer's Row. He'll face a tougher lineup in Seattle, so it's a toss-up if you want to start him and his 6.25 ERA then.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
