4/20:Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez had his best outing of the young season on Wednesday against the Reds. He outdueled rookie Amir Garrett over 7 2/3 shutout innings, allowing only two hits with four walks and three strikeouts. This was Jimenez's third start of the year and the first time he’s allowed less than five runs. His current 9:7 K:BB ratio leaves much to be desired, but with a career 8.21 K/9, we should see a rise in strikeouts as the season goes on. For fantasy purposes, Jimenez is merely a streaming option against weak offenses, and even then you’re rolling the dice. His next start will come at home against the Rays, against whom he holds a career 3.19 ERA over eight starts.--Ben Ruppert - RotoBaller
