Ty’Son Williams 2021 Outlook: Ready To Seize An Opportunity
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Ty'Son Williams wasn't a lock to make the team heading into the 2021 campaign. However, after Justice Hill failed to impress during training camp, Williams' stock began to rise. His outlook grew even more promising during the preseason finale against the Washington Football Team, although it came at the expense of J.K. Dobbins (knee), who tore his left ACL and was lost for the year as a result. Nonetheless, the undrafted BYU product appears to have surpassed Hill on the depth chart and will seemingly directly support Gus Edwards in the running game this season. Williams could get some work right off the bat in the Ravens' high-powered offensive approach, though it likely won't be enough for him to be considered a consistent fantasy option. Still, a late-round draft selection is undoubtedly warranted, primarily for those looking for an insurance policy.
