5/19:Texas Rangers starting pitcher Tyson Ross felt good after an extended spring training game on Thursday and looks forward to a rehab outing on Thursday. He has yet to pitch an inning this season due to complications related to thoracic outlet surgery, and the 30-year-old pitched only 5 1/3 innings last season. While there is no exact date set for Ross' return, the club is optimistic that it could occur before the end of the month, as he is only expected to be stretched to a 60-pitch limit before he is deemed ready to join the rotation. Ross' 3.26 ERA and 9.73 strikeouts per nine from 2015 are excellent, and he is worth a flier in deep mixed leagues when he returns.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
