7 years agoColorado defenseman Tyson Barrie picked up a goal and an assist in a win against Arizona on Saturday. The multi-point effort extended his personal scoring streak to six games (four goals and five assists). The British Columbia native is up to 46 points in 54 games and has moved into first place among all NHL defensemen in points per game (0.85). This is especially impressive considering that Barrie, on average, was just the 36th defenseman taken in Yahoo! drafts (average draft position of 133.4). The ultra-talented defenseman has positioned himself as a must-start in all fantasy circles. Barrie and the Avalanche travel to Minnesota on Tuesday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
