3 years agoRookie outfielder Tyler Naquin wasn't expected to provide much production as part of a platoon in center field to start the season after winning a spot on the roster with a hot spring. But he not only did that, he was able to help the Indians' outfield outproduce most of the other outfielder tandems around the league. In his first taste of Major League pitching, he hit .296 with 14 home runs, 43 RBI and six stolen bases in 365 at-bats. Naquin won't need to fight for a regular spot in the outfield in 2017, but that doesn't mean he'll be immune to a sophomore slump, especially in the power department after never hitting more than nine home runs in a season at a single professional level.--Tony
