Tucker Kraft 2023 Outlook: Slim Chance To Make Big Impact In Rookie Campaign
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie tight end Tucker Kraft was selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, meaning he'll almost certainly make the 53-man roster. However, the Packers took Oregon State tight end Luke Musgrave in the second round, meaning he'll have the early edge for the starting tight end job in 2023. That's not to say Kraft can't beat him out, but he'll have to impress mightily in offseason practices and preseason to beat out the player with higher draft capital. Kraft caught 99 passes for 1,211 yards and nine touchdowns in three seasons at South Dakota State and tested well athletically, but it often takes time for tight ends to develop, especially coming from an FCS school. For now, Kraft is off the fantasy football radar and is merely a deep dynasty league stash.
