Troy Tulowitzki Sitting On Thursday
4/20:With the Blue Jays and Red Sox kicking things off at 12:37 pm ET on Thursday, Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki will be getting a day of rest. He’ll be replaced by Ryan Goins, who will be hitting ninth in Tulo’s absence, and he shouldn’t be an option in daily fantasy leagues. Tulowitzki is only slashing .264/.286/.396 on the year, but most of that is due to a terrible start to the year that saw him hitless over his first 13 at-bats. He’s been playing much better as of late, though, as he’s on a six-game hitting streak with multiple knocks in three of them. It’s unfortunate he’ll be riding the pine while he’s so hot, but for a player with his injury history, it’s best to get him rest when the Jays can.
